Hello Everyone,
Today is my first attempt to blog. Hope you enjoy it as much as I plan to enjoy letting you know what is new and exciting in the crafting world. Being 52 I sometimes feel that the younger generation looks at my like I am way to old to understand and know what is "hip" and "trendy".
I plan to show projects and new ways to use the stuff you probably already have around your house. Do you crochet or knit? Felting is very popular right now - how about crocheting or knitting something with wool yarn then felt it. It's just a different way to look at what you already know how to do.
I will post photos of what I have been working on - as soon as I figure out how to do it - which I hope will inspire you. Nothing is more exciting that to hear a compliment about something you have made.
I have been designing for over 25 years for myself and manufacturers and have loved every minute if it. I have seen many trends and materials come and go over the years - remember macrame? I do too - it will be come back again then we will be ready with the supplies we already have somewhere in our garage.
Together we can twist and turn our favorite crafts into something that is "hip" and "trendy".
