These are a few of the cute pincushions I made as Christmas gifts this year. Everyone loved them - they are made from felted sweaters, old wool blazers and wool felt. Easy to do - just use a can as a base, and cover with desired fabric. Petals and leaves are cut from fabric, slightly gathered along bottom then glued into can. A round of sweater is filled with polyfil then glued in place. Add a few easy embrodery stiches arond the side and your're ready to go. Use up old sweaters or even kids old sweaters , make a pincushion and you will always have a rememberance of them. Let me know what you think.
